Our packaged pricing includes media storage and international delivery, easy access to your media from your desktop, accurate usage logs compatible with your existing reporting tools, and 24/7 support for service issues. The yearly rates are roughly equivalent to one month free. If you want to talk about the more advanced capabilities such as deep-link prevention or DRM, or how we can provide assistance with integration, please contact sales.

Pricing for Development & Support

Invoices for development work will reflect your development request ticket number and the actual hours spent on each project or task at your request. By signing up for a monthly retainer (contact sales) you can secure the most appropriate development rate shown here:

Retainer, 10 hours, $140 per hour
Retainer, 20 hours, $105 per hour
Development Projects

Development Retainer for Managed Hosting Customers
Minimum of 80 hours per month, $65 per hour, or $6,000 per month

Video Delivery Network Volume Reseller Dev Retainer

Notes on the Pricing Matrix

Advection.NET Pricing MatrixThere is no set up fee. The monthly published fees you see at your left on our matrix are the only fees you will be charged, unless you open support requests - in this case, support fees may apply. If your support request is due to a problem with our network, it is free of charge. If, however, you request some custom work, or help with troubleshooting your files or your own application, that's billed at our regular support rate. Please visit our pricing matrix to learn more about our support rates.

You can upgrade plans, or cancel, before the next billing period. If you find yourself exceeding the bandwidth or storage amount you signed up for, you may either upgrade your Media Plan, or pay the overage fees published in the pricing matrix. The upgrading process for any individual plan is free and only takes a few clicks, or our 24/7 network staff can do it for you if you send an email to

Our engineers are here 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, to assist you with your requests. Our developers' office day starts earlier than it does in the USA, so if you ask for an update, new feature, or fix, it will often be waiting for you when you come in the next day. In case you have an emergency request please refer to your Work Order or Registration Info you were sent at sign-up to learn more about the escalation procedure. (To prevent misuse, any non-emergency use of the emergency contact point may be billed at an "Emergency Response Rate" defined as double the current non-retainer Technical Support rate posted in our Pricing for Development and Support.)
